Gaylord is a mystery writer who uses her alter-ego, Allie Armington, to tell her stories. Gaylord is renowned for plots that twist and turn with the coincidental chaos of reality, impeccably researched webs of modern culture and sub-culture and characters driven by fundamental needs and desires. She has written three other mystery novels, including “Anacacho,” “Xs” and “Julia Fairchild.” “Spa Deadly” is no exception to Gaylord’s repertoire of enticing mystery novels.
